THE DISCORD

FRANCAIS / Formé après la fin de leur ancien groupe FAT DEAD SHIT, et amputés de leur chanteur, les lavallois décident de poursuivre l’aventure à trois et forment THE DISCORD.

Un premier Ep est enregistré au studio The Apiary pour ensuite enchainer de nombreux concerts et festivals tel que le HELLFEST en 2022. THE DISCORD propose un mélange de métal hardcore avec quelques touches de rock’n roll moderne. Le groupe se fait plaisir à varier les tempos et les sonorités que ce soit sur des intros bien lourdes ou des riffs plus typés punk-hardcore. On pourra reconnaitre dans leur musique des influences comme STRAY FROM THE PATH, COMEBACK KID ou encore BEARTOOTH

C’est en janvier 2025 que le groupe entre de nouveau au studio The Apiary (Birds in Row) pour enregistrer son nouvel album composé de 6 morceaux encore plus argneux sombres et revendicateurs que les précédents.

ENGLISH / Created after the split of their former band FAT DEAD SHIT, and without their singer, the Laval natives decided to continue their journey as a trio and formed THE DISCORD.

A first EP was recorded at The Apiary studio, followed by many concerts and festivals such as HELLFEST in 2022. THE DISCORD delivers a mix of hardcore metal and modern rock 'n' roll. The band enjoys varying tempos and sounds, from heavy intros to more punk-hardcore riffs. Influence as STRAY FROM THE PATH, COMEBACK KID, and BEARTOOTH can be recognized in their music.

In January 2025, the band returned to The Apiary studio (Birds in Row) to record their new album, composed of 6 tracks even more aggressive and darker than their previous record.
